Unfortunately, this isn't enough information for us to help you. Please
answer The First Question Of Troubleshooting: what changed between the
time things worked and the time they didn't? If this is on a new
computer and the problem occurred out of the box, please tell us the
make/model of the computer.

I have the same problem which I posted on May 4. Each time I try to drag
files from a jump drive to a folder on a hard drive I am getting a message
"Windows Explorer has stopped working" and it crushes. Same thing happens
when I highlight file, go to Edit and use Copy to folder. The only workaround
I found is Copy and Paste. Very annoying. I have Windows Vista Business,
32-bit pre-installed on Sony SZ notebook. I will appreciate any help.

This is not necessarily the same issue which is why it is a good idea
not to inject your post into someone else's thread. Since you already
posted yesterday, stay in your original thread. If you aren't getting
answers to that post, perhaps you didn't include enough information. See
this link for guidance:

Since it is a new computer, I would be contacting Dell for assistance. Just
for info, there does seem to be an explorer problem that Microsoft hasn't
fixed yet. I get it every 1-2 weeks and have since day 1. Many others
report the same problem. Info sent in and no solutions to date.

I have the same problem. I downloaded a plugin to watch a video and then had
some sort of spyware. I try to uninstall and my computer told me I needed to
reboot. When this occurred, the cycle of windows explorer is not working or
is restarting began. I cannot use anything in windows just firefox

What spyware? If you accidentally installed the Renos trojan to your
system, you would need to clean that off your system before Explorer would
be able to function correctly.

What fault bucket information are you getting--

-- in the Problem Reports and Solutions center?
