Windows Explorer hangs when double-click / right click on files

Hi,

I have been facing a kind of weird problem lately. I am working in
wireless mode on my Compaq laptop and witnessing problems accessing
files through Windows Explorer (I have Windows XP professional). This
behaviour does not prevails everytime and if i encounter this and
reboot my machine, problem gets solved but for not too long .... After
working for around 6-7 hours i witness this behaviour. I have been
working on the same machine for the last one year but have faced this
weird problem only recently.

Have scanned for viruses etc but cant find anything. Also, have checked
for all the unwanted services (if at all they exist) on my laptop. Went
through all the Context Menus and other things, as described in
questions to similar topics but all in vain.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
