Windows explorer defaujlt folder

My Windows Explorer (XP)opens with My Documents as its default folder. It
takes about three clicks to get to Local Disk (C, which is the folder I
nearly always want. My older computer, also running on XP, opens Explorer
with xxxxx (C, but I can't remember how I got it to do that. Any clues, or
is it a function of Power Toys?

Thanks, Norm, but it didn't work --- possibly because my keyboard has
grabbed a default setting. Using my MicroSoft Multimedia Keyboard 1.0A, I
edited the My Music key to open Windows Explorer at C:\ as the default, and
that works.
