windows explorer crashing

i have few video files in a folder in my documents and when ever i go in to
try and arrange them my windows explorer crashes. i can't figure out what is
wrong and these files are important as i need the for a few web sites i am
designing, if anyone can help i'd really appreciate it

Actually thiers a few updates to windows explorer,windows xp shell,etc..You'll
find these updates at:http://www.microsoft.com/technet Click on "security
bulletins" ,also,thiers about 10 pages,look within last 12 months or so.

Are these .avi files? Windows Explorer can have some problems with those.
