Windows Defender stopped working and I got this message :
Application failed to initialize 0x800106ba. Aproblem caused this service to
stop. Can you fix it ?
 
Please include what Operating System and Service Pack level are you using?,
and perhaps what other antivirus or antimalware software you may have
installed, Security suite and firewall, etc. etc.

Am I correct in thinking that you are running Mcafee or another Security
suite?
