G Guest Mar 16, 2007 #5 I had the same problem and I got info from here. Just remove the WinDef and re-install it. This worked for me.....so far. Good luck!!!

If this error is occurring on Windows Vista, do this: Start, accessories, right-click command prompt, choose run as administrator. At the resulting elevated (running as administrator) command prompt, type: sfc /scannow and hit enter.
