windows defender won't start

HELP! One day when i turned on my laptop, got a strange error, windows
defenser will not start

Does it give a numeric error code? What antivirus do you have installed,
and was it recently updated in some way?

and its says windows defender won't intialize

McAfee is not compatible with Windows Defender. There is a very long

McAfee's product is preventing Windows Defender from starting. This is
intentional, but in this case it hasn't been done very neatly. If you can't
find a support article from Mcafee about how to handle this, going to the
services control panel and setting the Windows Defender services' startup
type to disabled will remove the error message.
