hello

hi dude, i had the same problem, what i did is the folllowing: you just cant open windows defender if you already got another antivirus working on vista , so i just went to security center and deactivate the antivirus and then activate windows defender

It seems that you have mistakenly installed a corrupt application having Trojan. Such programs get installed in the PC without the permission of the user and remove the legitimate applications. You have to opt for an efficient spyware removal guide in order to fix the error immediately.
