    While trying to restart Windows Defender, I got Error Message 0x800106ba. I
    tried to do the suggested "Remove Windows Defender" but the Windows Defender
    program was not listed. I then followed the suggestion to type "regsvr32
    (with its associated files) into the RUN function, but when I typed regsvr32
    wuaueng.dll, I got another Error Code 0x80070005. I then tried to download
    the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool, but received TWO Error
    Messages this time!! They are:

    Internet Explorer Script Error
    Line: 3
    Char: 135
    Error: Object doesn't support this property or method.
    Code: 0
    URL: http://rad.msn.com/ADSAdClient31.dll?
    GetSAd=&DPJS=4&PG=CMSDCD&AP=1090

    Internet Explorer Script Error
    Line: 1
    Char: 71
    Error: Object doesn't support this property or method.
    Code: 0
    URL: http://microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?
    FamilyID=435bfce7-da2b-4a6a-afa4-
    f7f14e605a0d&displaylang=en

    I have absolutely NO idea what any of this means, or what to do about it,
    but I know that I do need to have the security offered by the Windows
    Defender program.

    Any help is gratefully received, but please make it as simple as possible,
    as I don't speak the language or have any technical knowledge about
    computers. Thank you.
