Windows alert noise goes off every couple of hours

Randomly every couple of hours or so, I will hear the windows alert
noise go off.
This happens on a daily basis when there are no system errors. This
just happens on my work computer.



It is sometype of monitoring software going off in the
background...websense perhaps?

Could be. You may want to see what software you are running that is set
to do this.
