Logging Off

When I go to log off and switch users. My computer make weird noises (the
floppy drive I think). An end task window pops up really fast and then goes
away and then it switches to the user screen. This didn't happen until I
used a floppy a couple of days ago.

Is there a forgotten floppy in the A: drive at the moment?

no there isn't a floppy in the drive when i log off

Right click the Start button, select Properties, Customize. If you're using
the Classic Start Menu, click the Clear button to clear your Recent
Documents list. If you're using the new Start Menu, click Clear List on the
Advanced tab.

It sounds to me like you infected your computer with the
W32.BootStop.worm. The only thing that will remove this
worm is a reformat/reinstall. I should know, I was
infected last week and could not remove the virus, either
manually or by removing the infected files using Norton
Antivirus 2002 and Vet Antivirus.
