No not ever used Symantec - well aware it often gives probs - so are you
saying your partial freezing is now cured???

No, unfortunately it isn't cured. I was just wondering / hoping that
might've been the cause of all this for both of us and that some helpful
soul out there could tell me what to do to undo Symantec's *evil*--but
apparently in this case, it *isn't* their evil. Sigh and double sigh.

I'll let you know if I come up with anything else. Shoot, I may even
try 98lite myself.
