Hi,

i am trying to install driver for minolta pagepro 1100 but i receive error
"The printer driver is not compatible with a policy enabled on your computer
that blocks Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 kernel-mode drivers." I am sure
that there is no policy enabled. on the manufacturer web page is driver only
for w2k. Is there any solution for this problem?

thank you

You need to disable the policy

Disallow installation of printers using kernel-mode drivers
If you do not configure this setting on Windows Server 2003 family
products, the installation of kernel-mode printer drivers will be blocked.
(this is in gpedit.msc / Administrative Templates / Printers )

Kernel mode drivers can cause the system to bugcheck if they improperly
manage memory.
