When Windows Add Hardware completes the installation, it coms eith the
following error:

Printer driver was not installed. The printer driver is not compatible with
a policy enabled on you computer that blocks NT 4.0 Drivers.

I tryed ALL other drivers from Samsung, but not one will be installed
succesfull. Even if I want to install via Vista and let vista download recent
drivers from MicroSoft it coms with the right driver. When I select that
driver the installation will be start but ended halfway with error:

Windows can't install the Samsung CLP-510 series kernel-mode print driver.
To obtain a driver that is compatible with the version of Windows you are
running, contact the manufacturer.

Anyone an ID how this can fixed.

Strange, because when I add a printer and choose windows update, MS coms with
a certified Samsung driver..? I supose if the driver is cerified for Vista it
is tested and must work, instead of old NT driver in a MS certified package
which not work.

Test the driver again or ask Samsung why it is not work, that will make
Vista succes instead of dump some "certified" drivers without testing. So
what means "certified" that Samsung payed a lot off money to get some NT
driver "certified"

My company goes next month over on Vista, and we use all Samsung
laserprinters, so with other words, we must use XP Pro for that time and
cancel our order for Vista licenses.

No Vista before 2008, and no more Samsung!!!

Of course we did contact Samsung, but no answer at all.

If I add a printer in Vista64, and do a Windows update, Windows VISTA64 comes
with a Samsung CLP-510 series driver, I supose it is digitally signed by MS?

Yes i think is signed...
This driver is say samsung signed, but it does not works. it takes the same
error between the driver from samsung download page.
between this dirvers are no differences theres the same.. ive checkes with
hash..
thus she give us the same error... "...NT4.0 driver..."

under Vistax86 the driver works correct but not with vista64.
Samsung have to wrote a new driver for vista64 otherwise we cannot use
vista64 with this printer..
