WINDOW UPDATE CRASH - HELP

I try to run Window Security Update on my 2 laptops and they both crashed during installation, it just shut down !!! everytime I turn it on, it will be on for about 2 mins and then shut down even I dont run Window Update. But I run Window update on my desktop and it works fine. Any One..Please Helpppppppppp ! Thanks Much
 
Do you have antivirus programs? If you have the CD & set your BIOS to boot from CD, you can run a virus scan before you start up.
