win98 system accessing a win2k shared folder

how can u get a win98 system to be able to connect to a
win2k shared folder. it does not allow usernames to be
used but asks for a password. the server is running
windows 2000 server edition on a workgroup not a domain.

Todd,
Create a User account and password on both Windows98 and Windows2000 with
the same Username and Password. Then try to access the folder.......
Post back the results
