Win2K Pro HELP!

G

Ger

I am running Win2K Pro SP4

I have it set up to auto logon as Administrator.

Before I get to the Logon Screen I get a dialog box that
only shows

Administrator

and an OK button

Machine will stay on this screen until I press OK then OS
loads as usual.

Where does this screen come from and how do I remove it?

Thanks

You can run regedit.exe and navigate to;
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
edit the Reg_Sz string values
"DefaultUserName"
and
"DefaultPassword"
to reflect the correct username and password. (note: the password for an
autologon account can not be blank)
