Win2K Install

I have been given a hand me down Dell Inspiron 3500 lap
top here at work. I cleaned hard drive with a program
called Disk Sanitize, which writes zeros to the hard
drive. My Win2K boot disks start loading their files. I
am then prompted to format the drive and I selected NTFS.
Then the setup files are copied from the Win2K CD. I am
then prompted to reboot. After rebooting the laptop is in
a frozen state with a blinking cursor in the upper left
hand corner. Any ideas on what is happening?

Hi Art,

I would start by going to the Dell Web site and see if there is a BIOS
update available for the system.
