win2000 - win98 printer sharing

I have 2 systems networked via a router. The win2k machine can access the win 98 machine ok... The win2k machine has a printer and I have it shared. The win98 machine can see the win2k machine but when I try to access the printer or folders, I get a box asking for a password. What am I not doing right?

Create a user account on the win2k computer that has the identical
username/password used to log onto the win98 computer.
