win xp pro started running very slow

hey,

my computer running win xp pro sp2 has been great, but in the last few days,
it (in particular the net) has become rediculasly slow!

I have done a disk defrag and clean up, any other programs I can down load
or any other ideas??

you may wish to try and reboot/restart/reset and see if that speeds the
operation
