Hi
I have problems with a computer that freezes running
windows xp pro, what happens is that the icons at the
bottom of the screen to select open programs remains
displayed but they do not function to select other opened
programs to maximise or close the programs. Also the
start
button is viewable but not operational, so selecting new
programs to start or to restart the program that way does
not operate. The work-around that I have is to start the
task manager and restart the computer that way. The
freezing happens around 10 ~ 15 times a day.
The computer that freezes is a laptop running win xp pro,
networked with a PC running win xp home. Reason for
running win xp pro on the laptop was to use the offline
synchronization of files that a stored on the PC. Maybe I
should be running win xp pro on the PC, not sure if this
will fix the freezing though.
Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
