I bought the upgrade version, but before I open the box I
want to make sure the program will recognize the win me
that is currently on there and thus know I am ok for
upgrade? The box says it can get the info from my current
op sys and/or the orig CD. I purchased the computer with
me installed and I don't have a disk??? Thanks!!

If you have an intstalled copy of Windows, you shouldn't
have a problem. The only time I've needed my 98 CD is
when I'm installing XP Home Upgrade on a feshly formatted
disk with out an OS installed.
