I have a Windows 2000 Server SP2 with the TSE service.
I upgrade to SP4 and now the results is that when some
user disconnect or logoff the server give me a blue screen.
The error is STOP: 0x0000001E KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
in Win32k.sys.
The error occurs also if you try to reset some user with
TSADMIN, mainly if the user is (Disconnected).
I have mixed users ICA (CDS Citrix) and MS RDP.
With SP2 I haven't problem of this sort.

Any suggestion?
Thanks

Rossi

Have you tried reapplying the service pack? If this is
reproducible, have you tried calling Microsoft support to
see if this is a known problem with SP4?

I have reinstalled the Service pack, but it change only 2
or 3 files. Nothing is changed.
The error is reproducible,
I had tried 2 times and in both of them the server give
me the blue screen. So now I cannot use tsadmin safely
thinking that server can reboot at any operation on
connected user. The server work if I don't use tsadmin.
The MS article that seems referring to this trouble are

302510
324446

You are right that 302510 exactly matches your problem, but 324446
does not (no BSOD, "only" 5-10 seconds delay).
The strange thing is that there is a pre-SP4 hotfix for this
issue, so it is supposed to be *fixed* by SP4, not *caused* by it.

I would call Microsoft support and report this.
