Win 2000 Error

i want to add user to a group on a win2000 stand alone server,when i click
add,i show error message below

Oject Picker cannot open because no locations from which to choose objects
could be found

Can anyone help me ,THANK YOU!

That error generally is seen on domain machines when it can not contact AD. Look
in Event Viewer for any clues and run netdiag to see it reports any failed tests
that may provide a clue. ---- Steve

Steven,i am not using ad,it just a stand alone server,which should i
test?DNS?WINS?or Others?

Running netdiag on it may help. It will perform a battery of tests. It is located in
the install cd in suport/tools - run the setup there. --- Steve
