Unable to add users to groups

When I try to add an user to a group from windows 2000
professional-->local users and groups, I am getting an
error message as

"Object Picker cannot open because no locations from which
to choose objects could be found"

and

"An error occured attempting to create the object picker
An error with no description has occured"

So If any one aware of this please let me know

Thanks Karin Galli

But I have tried all the mentioned articles to solve this
problem but it still continues. So if anyone can let me
know if there any other solution please to it.
