Hello to all Pro

Naming Information cannot be located because:
the specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.

Scenario:
Problem with Windows 2000 Advanced Server failed to boot up, then force it
to boot i use F8 then goto Last good known configuration and it boot up.
But the Problem is when I click on "Active Directory Users and Computers" it
displays "Naming Information cannot be..." error but when i click on "Connect
to Domain Controller..." and put the server.domain_name.local it can connect
to domain. Another problem occur when i want to share my folder for example
then add permission to it will display the "Object Picker cannot open because
no locations from which objects could be found." therefore i cannot open the
Active Directory Users.
