Naming Information cannot be located - Pls HELP!!!

Hello,

I just tried configuring my system for Remote Access. Once
i finished, I cannot get into the Active Directory
anymore. The instruction says to stop some services before
starting and that was all I did. Now I cannot get in to
manage users and domain.

It says

Naming Information cannot be located because:
No authority could be contacted for authentication.
Contact your system administrator to verify that your
domain is properly configured and is currently online.

I am the administrator and I am stucked.....

Please help.

What services did you stop?

Load the Services snap-in, filter the startup-type to automatic and see if
any of the automatic services are NOT started -start them. Now you need to
find why they stopped -look in the event logs and refer to www.eventid.net
for information and suggestions of what to do with these warnings and
errors.
