Why is outlook sending out one email several times out?

When sending out emails with photographs or attachment, microsoft outlook
shows that it is sending out the same email 4 to 5 times. Sometimes I even
have the case of the email still showing in the outbox and it has already
been sent out 5 times out. Has somebody the same issue? I have ran the
antivirus, but the laptop looks working fine.

My friends are getting annoyed...

What version of Outlook are you using? What anti-virus software are you
using? Only happens when you have one or more attachments?

What kind of account are you using? (POP? IMAP?)
