Sending Email with Attachment

Whenever, I tried sending email with attachment more than 2 or 3MB, the
message would try sending out but seems failed. The message will always be in
the outbox folder but in fact the message has been sent out. After which i
receive many read receipt from the recipients.

When i use window mails to send out the same email, i do not face any problem.
Please advise.
