Outlook 2007 keeps sending same email numerous times

I send an email with a 3mb attachment to contacts, and it kept sending the
same email 10 times, annoying the heck out of my contacts? When i looked in
outbox, the email was still there, stating busy sending. What could cause
this? (It happened twice today). I have now had to shut down outlook 2007 and
am using the webmail rather until resolved. Any adice and assistance will be
appreciated, thank you very much.
