Where is ?

Yesterday I downloaded everything Microsot had to offer on the Windows
update page but now I can't find anything that was downloaded so where were
they downloaded to? I'v chacked every place I can think of but no joy.

Why are you looking for the downloads? If you used Windows update it
installed them after it downloaded.

There were some games & vista extras also so I would like to know where they

Try: Control Panel/Programs/Programs and Features/View Installed Updates

If you downloaded Microsoft Tinker then that should be in the Games folder.
The only other Vista 'extras' would be dreamscene files and you will find
those by right clicking on your desktop, selecting Personalize from the drop
down menu, then selecting Background from the list in the window that
appears. When the 'choose a desktop background' window opens, click the
arrow to the right of the 'Location' dialogue box and select Windows
Dreamscene Content.

The Dreamscene content is only available in Vista Ultimate

The extras (non essential) updates download/install in the same way; through
Windows Update. Type "Windows Update in to the search field on the Windows
Start menu, then launch WU - and it will give you "Critical", "Important"
and "Optional" updates to install.
