WHERE IS MY SOUND!?!!!

the problem is, all the system sounds (error) etc are working, any other
sudio is not, the volume is all fine, the problem is, the computer is not
recognising that i have built-in speakers...
it thinks there are no audio output devices at all... when in fact there is...
i recently rebooted my entire laptop... does the error lie here?

Hi Lucy,

When you say rebooted do you mean reinstalled ?

If you have reinstalled your laptop then you might have to install
associated drivers to get your hardware working (ie : your sound ), your
drivers may be either on a seperate CD or on a HD partition on your laptop.
