I upgraded my system from 98 to xp, and now I can't find any of my downloaded
programs-like my camera, palm pilot, etc. Do all these need to be
reinstalled, and will I lose my existing data? I can find the files through
My Documents, but not the executable. And how do I get them to the Start
menu?

Thanks. This may be a really dumb question, but can I revert back to 98 and
reback up my hard drive? I backed up originally, but it didn't fit on a cd,
so I left it on the hard drive-I can't find the back up file. Now I have a
USB memory card that it will fit on. Or am I SOL?

yea, SOL indeed. I would stay with XP though. You are much safer and up to
date with it. You can also do alot more with it.
