what is prutsct.exe?????

Help. Does anyone know what prutsct.exe is? I keep getting an error message,
saying something about this prutsct.exe must shut down and asking to send an
error report. When I click on that, it sends the report but the error screen
keeps coming back in some sort of weird loop. What do I do? I tried shutting
it down through task manager, but that didn't work.

Did you try doing a search of files on your computer for this file? If
found, you should be able to establish what program / application is
associated with it and uninstall and re-install the application (as it sound
like it's somehow corrupted).

I'm having the same problem and the virus scanner (updated) has no
information on it!

Hi iliad, I got the same problem as you, but I took away the program from my
computer. I dont now what program is working with, but i t was quite new on
my computer. After I took it away, my pc seems to work as it should.

Yes dvanaus, i just delete the file. I have search for information about
prutsct, and I think its some worm. As usual something who is disturbing and
infect the pc.
I dont have any problem with my pc after i delete the file.
