I have a hard drive that was crashing in my laptop. I pulled it out and put
it into an external drive case. I now want to go to its log files and open
them up via what ever program will to see if I can see what was going on....

How can I do that?

Thanks....

From your host computer:

Start->Run->eventvwr.msc

When the Event viewer comes up, right-click on "Event Viewer (Local)"
and select "Open Log File". Navigate to your log file(s) on your
problem disk which is probably in Windows\System32\Config Folder.
Select the type of log that you have chosen in the "Log Type" box, then
click "Open".

HTH,
John
