Welcome screen shows 1 unread mail

Tom

I have XP media center.
I just upgrade to Office 2003
I checked all folders in Outlook, and even outlook express (witch I don't
use) and there are no unread mail.
Every time I start my PC when the Welcome screen comes up awaiting me to
enter password it says " 1 unread mail message.

Is there anyway to reset this or what am I doing wrong?
Where is this unread mail.

I have checked junk mail, and everything........

Turn off that ability - unless you really think you need it.
Use Microsoft's PowerToy for Windows XP: TweakUI.
