hi, im trying to connect to my home compute. my home network have 3 pcs, all of them windows xp and im trying to connect to the principal the one that has the router and the fir WAN IP.
when i connect to them within my network i get access without problem but when i trying to get access from the internet i just get accest to the default webpage but when i click connect, it doesnt load the User page to fet access. what i got is a page like this pages cannot be display.
What can i do to solve this problem?
i already forward the port on my firewall as well on my router firewall
i change the ISS port which the defaul was 80 i changet for 2982
so when i enter the web site i eter like this
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:2982/tsweb tehn i get the deffault but when i click connect i get the error.
i didnt install the ACTIVEX COMPONENT BECAUSE IT DIDNTASK ME TO INSTALLED TO I THOUGH I ALREADY HAVED INSTALLED.
DOES THE FIREWALL PREVENT THIS PROGRAM TO ASK U TO INSTALL ACTIVE X?

Leave IIS port 80 along. You need to open up port 3389 on your
Linksys router.

Remote Desktop use port 3389 as the default.

Hin

In addition to the IIS port (TCP Port 2882 in your case), you also need to forward TCP Port 3389
through the router for Remote Desktop.

Also, to test this you must be at a remote location and call using the public IP of your router. You
can *NOT* be on a PC on your internal LAN and call using the public IP...
