Web pages very slow to load since installing the MSN Toolbar

Ever since I installed the MSN Toolbar, web pages take
much longer to load. Even when it says "Done" on the
taskbar, it freezes up for several more seconds. I
uninstalled the toolbar, and still have the problem. I
installed the latest version of IE to no avail. Any help
would be appreciated.
