Web page problem

Hello all
A lady at work has this problem

1) Her computer can connect to the internet via Thompson speedtouch 330, She
has talktalk broadband
2) Her computer can send / receive e-mails
3) Her computer can update anti virus, windows updates etc
4) Her computer can go to web sites and pages within that web site that are
within the web site. i.e. www.examplewebsite.co.uk/test.html or
www.examplewebsite.co.uk /anothertest.html etc
5) Her computer cannot go to a link in a web site that directs her browser
(IE 6.0) to another web site. i.e When in www.examplewebsite.co.uk and she
clicks on a link that sends her to www.anotherwebsite.co.uk The IE6 just
'hangs', blank window, with no error massage , no 'Opening Page' at the
bottom of the screen and no internet activity (2 little computers in the
task bar black)

Operating system XP home edition with SP2
All Microsoft updates up to date

Any help would be much appreciated

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I followed the second link
(MVPS) and re-registered some dill's as suggested on the web page
All is now OK. She also had a script error in OE 6.0 printing and this too
was fixed. Thank you for your time
