WD and PowerReg Schedular

Whenever I run a full scan with WD, it always finds the same MEDIUM THREAT of
PowerReg Schedular.
A Tech at MS told me to click on ignore and apply action...OK, I do that and
I come up with everything OK, I'm clean.
Why the Tech told me to click on ignore, I have no idea. Why he didn't tell
me to click on ALWAYS IGNORE I don't know...My mistake for not asking.
If I try to remove it, WD can't remove it and I get the error message that
the action failed.
Is the real problem that Defender isn't capable of removing PowerReg
Schedular?
If it belongs on my PC, why does WD always find it as a MEDIUM THREAT?
None of this makes any sense to me. Does anyone have an answer and if so,
please let me know why I'm told to IGNORE it and not told to ALWAYS ALLOW it
and if it's a MEDIUM THREAT why I can't REMOVE IT.
I also think that QUICK SCAN is an absolute waste of time.
Thanks a lot...

There are many versions of PowerReg Scheduler, some versions are spyware and
some are used for gaming. My son is a gamer and on his computer, PowerReg
Schedular was used by the Atari game Act of War. When I removed it from his
computer, the game would not work. So obviously in that case, Always allow
would be appropriate. I moved PowerReg Scheduler to my computer to test WD,
because it couldn't find anything wrong when I did a full scan. Yahoo
toolbar (Anti-spy) will flag PowerReg Schedular, most other anti-spyware
programs don't anymore. The problem you encountered by using Ignore should
be pursured by Microsoft.

Thank you so much for such a quick and very helpful response and I will
choose Always allow. I wanted to do that but thought I should ask someone
else before I did something stupid.
You also made this statement "The problem you encountered by using Ignore
should be pursured by Microsoft."
Now that, Mr Cat, would be a true miracle that Microsoft would do anything
about it
and I wouldn't even begin to pursue the issue because I just don't know how
to go about it. The last time I called the Security # about AS(Beta 1) the
man I spoke to could not answer any of my questions and forwarded my call to
Tech Support and that was when I learned that AS (Beta 1) was obsolete and he
took me through the steps of downloading and installing WD. He's also the
one that told me to ignore PowerReg Schedular.
Again, thank you so much for your help, Toots
