I'd say the same, though girls do like my watch...more specifically the adjustable bezel. Seems they get a kick out of twisting it round alot lol...

I have a really nice Fossil Blue watch - probably worth over a hundred quid, i got it brand new in collectors case for £32 - Lost in post auction, at an auction house i used to do casual work at.

It was engraved though... "To john, happy 21st love debbie and steve" or something like that... Sad it got lost but hey...it was probably insured :)

You know... I used to find that too - I wonder why :confused: I suppose they don't have twisty bezels on most girls watches!

Yes, us girls are soooo easily pleased by such simple things, that's why we like men :D

However, on the subject of bodily decor, the odd diamond doesn't go amiss...

Flopps, your not the only one ...

No watch for me either. :D

I'm afraid I use my mobile for a "personal" time keeper, but I have clocks in nearly every room in the house ... and yes, they all give a different time, some are on BST & some on BWT. :p

BST = British SummerTime
BWT = British WinterTime

Older people value time more than younger ones, looking at the watch knowing the time is ticking by is not a very comforting feeling, I must say. I guess I will follow in the footsteps of Flops and Mucks soon! Will pass on all the watches to my son.

wow :eek: Is that a window on the back of the watch you can see its insides? (or does it just have the back removed on the 2nd pic?)

I wear a reasonably cheap gold-looking 'rotary' watch.
Have had it for about 5 years now, and hate being without it.
As for syncronisation, I only really change/check it for daylight saving twice a year, and then I just set it to whatever the clock in my room says. :)

I am now thinking of getting a "Jacob watch". These are around the price mark of 3,000pounds at the very least. Real diamonds etc. I have seen ones for 10,000pounds too.

Check out the piccy :) I have wanted these type of watches for a LONG time !

Hope you like it. It's VERY nice with the diamonds ;) lol

(It might not be THAT particular watch. This is the only decent sized pic i could find of the watch atm)

If I had a choice with unlimited funds I would choose the following as it happens to be the most beautiful watch there is IMHO.

Nothing is free on this planet and never will be, you have to pay for everything one way or the other :D
