I've just been reading about these new smart watch straps from Sony, called the Wena. Instead of a smart watch, it's a smart strap that can be used with your existing watch face (they also sell watch faces you can use with it too). It does most of the things that a smart watch does - there's a small screen, it does activity tracking, notifications, payments, etc. There are two versions, the Active (which is a black plastic) and the Pro (which is metal). Only problem is that the RRP is £349 and £399!!

I like the concept, just wish it was a bit cheaper! :(

I can't not read 'Wena' as weiner

I am impressed though. I don't have any expensive fancy watches, but I like the idea of these straps. I agree that the fittings don't look especially secure though, but maybe the mechanism is stiff enough that it's not a problem. It's just a shame that they're so expensive :(
