Warning message on startup

I recieve a Stop C0000135 (unable to locate component This application has
failed to start because winsvr was not found.Re-installing the application
may fix problem
This is in a blue screen setting

How do I find out which application has failed

I have tried booting with XP recovery disc & the same message appears I am
lost my computer has XP home addition service pack 1 (Can not install service
pack 2 but that another story between Dell & Microsoft)
Anyone that can give me help much appreciated

You receive a "Stop: c0000135" and "winsrv was not found" error message
after installing SP2.

Or, you can use the MSCONFIG feature to check each item listed one
at a time.
Start>Run>type MSCONFIG>press OK>Startup tab.
