throughout the night. I wonder if there is an application which I use
to wake me up in the morning ? A good alarm application ? Thanks.

you want a wake up call...

could you just set the built in Task Scheduler to play some music at the
appropriate time?

Since you likely don't change the TZ on the laptop the front desk is
probably the more reliable method.

I tried the task scheduler and it worked but not all the time.
Sometime, the volume control is set to very low and I cannot hear the
MP3.

So is there a way to set the Win2k volume through the command line ?
