Somehow this got past my Norton Antivirus and I have been
trying to get rid of it. When I try to download the
Microsoft MS03-026 823980 I get the following:

No Updates Were Installed

The following items failed to install. To try installing
them again, click Review and install updates, and then
click Install Now again.

First disconect from the internet, (If DSL, Cable. unplug
from the modem) then turn off system restore settings
then press Ctrl, Alt, Delete and click the processes tab
and find the process msblast.exe select this process and
click end process now go to your network conection in the
control panel then network conection and right click on
your conection and select properties then the advance tab
and enable your fire wall. now go to windows explorer and
click c:\ file then windows then system32 and find the
file msblast and delete it and delete it from the recycle
bin also. now conect to the internet and download
microsft's patch as well as the fixblast file and install
the patch but do not restart your machine untill you have
also run the fixblast.exe and you will be rid of this
worm. remember to turn your system restore back on after
all this.
