Install of Update

MS03-026: Security Update for Windows XP (823980)failed
to install after I had gone throgh all the steps to
remove the "worm" and set the firewalls etc.

Actually all three updates I attempted from the site
failed.

I think there is a problem with Windows Update right
now. I just reinstalled my system, and, of course, have
dozens of updates to download from Windows Update. When
I try to download and install, it begins to download,
then after approximately 2-3 seconds, it stops
downloading and gives an error message indicating the
updates failed to install and I should try again.

Is this what you are getting also?

Hopefully the problem will clear up on its own.
