W2K3-R2 Not Recognizing Multiple Modems

P

patrick

I have installed Windows 2003 R2 Standard Edition.

I installed an USB Modem and the Fax Service recognized it and I am using it
to route incoming faxes without issue.

When I install a second modem (that's connect to serial port modem), Device
Manager recognizes the modem, but the Fax Service does not. It sill only
shows one modem.

I ultimately want 2 modems in the system.

As far as I know, you are limited to only ONE dial-up modem per system.
You can add a Cable, DSL or a wireless modem, either Ethernet or USB.

I have a question.
I completed to installed USB modem and serial port modem.
And Two Faxes recognazes at Fax Service
but I coun't see Printers and Faxes(start/settings/printers and faxes)
It still only shows one Fax List
I wanted to see whole fax list. For example, fax1, fax2

You can only have one listed, such as BVRP or Capture Fax. But,
you've got an excellent idea of Fax1 and Fax2. Maybe the new
MS Vista will support this, but I do not know and am skeptic until
all the worms are worked out.
