I have a user on the road with a laptop using XP pro and VPN. This
particular user has virus protection. For some unknow reason VPN has
disappeared completely and she is unable to create a new connection. When she
gets to the point to connect to the network at workplace the 2 choices for

Connection radio buttons she can not choose either one. It's not a
permission thing because I make her login as administrator. In addition if
she goes to network connection in the control panel the VPN choice has
disappeared too. Does anyone have any information on how to get this back?

It could be a 3rd party software issue. For troubleshooting, try to start
the windows with clean boot.

Already tried that. I even had the user shut down completely and wait a few
minutes before booting.
