vpn clients to access internet

hi,
im sure this gets asked all the time, but is there a nice little
step-by-step guide for letting multiple vpn clients get out to the internet
through a Win2000 Server?

I have 2 nics in this box...192.168.1.2 and x.x.x.3. The router(gateway)
hooked up to this is on x.x.x.1. I have a DMZ setup on the router for the
x.x.x.2 nic, so i have been able to establish a vpn into this box. I would
love to be able to use the x.x.x.3 nic to get these vpn connections back out
on to the internet.

could someone help me out?

thanks in advance....

Why would you want to do that? The clients must already have a connection
to the Internet, or they could not connect. Why would you want to reroute
their Internet traffic through your server? It puts an extra load on your
server and will probably not give them a satisfactory response time.

Have you considered modifying the VPN client setup so that they continue
to use their established Internet connection while connected to the VPN
server? See KB 254231 .

i want to ensure privacy out of another location, so stuff wont be visible
to anyone while at client site.

There are two things that come into it - routing and DNS. How do the LAN
clients get to the Internet? I presume that the router does NAT for them.
What about DNS? Do they simply use the gateway router as a DNS proxy (ie
just set their DNS to the router's IP)?
