Hi

Here is the situation - We have a Windows 2000 server as our VPN server behind a SOHO firewal
The client - an XP Proffessional machine can connect to our VPN server when we dial-up to the Internet using our ISP however, when I attempt to connect - using the same computer from other LANs that require me to enter a dynamic IP address I get Error 721 The remote computer did not respond

Please help

Check to make sure the firewalls and routers on the other LANS are passing
TCP port 1723 and IP Protocol 47 traffic.

Since I am not the administrator on those Lans is there a way I can check this. The last time I spoke with one of the other administrators they told me the problem had to be on my end. I would love to verify before I ask them to make the changes

Thank you so much for your help

As it turned out they had these ports block and once they opened them all was well
